The Vungalow: Meet Alice, Senior Marketing Manager
Armed with her publisher sales experience and a cup of coffee, Alice is making an impact on Vungle. She joins us today to discuss her role in Vungle’s international marketing team, and how she is empowered to drive marketing initiatives.
Hi, Alice! Tell us what you do at Vungle and what your typical day is like.
I’ve been Vungle’s Senior Marketing Manager since December 2018. I’m excited to work on the next chapter of Vungle’s growth, now that we are a Blackstone portfolio company. Even though my team is spread throughout the globe and I’m in Seoul, we work like a family! I coordinate very closely with our sales teams. Vungle is a fast-paced environment. We thrive on constant innovation and pushing boundaries.
What’s your favorite Vungle memory?
In September 2015, we opened our first office in Korea. I was thrilled to be entrusted with the inaugural launch orchestration. We organized a press event in the morning, held a startup growth seminar in the afternoon, and then hosted an ad tech luminaries salon dinner – it was high-octane day!
What inspires you in the morning?
Listening to music while driving to work, because it pumps me up and gets me ready for another exciting day where I can be innovative and reach out to different creative teams.
What’s on your desk?
- Hundreds of client business cards from my previous role in publisher sales.
- Flight ticket for my next holiday. I’m an adventurer and traveler.
- Coffee — my healing potion.
What’s your favorite video game, book, or movie?
I’ve been a gamer since kindergarten. These days I enjoy PUBG MOBILE. I play it almost every night with my friends. We talk about daily life over the app. So it’s not only a game but also a way to connect with people.
