#BeetVungle at Beetastic!

We’re all about the hustler spirit here at Vungle, so, when we heard about Ella and Zac Passfield, the under-ten-year-old game developing duo behind the adorable game Beetastic, we were all about it.

With the help of their father, John Passfield, who runs the game accelerator Right Pedal Studios in Australia, Ella and Zac created this uber-cute game to help fund their vacation souvenir spending funds.  How did they do this, you ask? With Vungle video ads of course!

While John acted as the project manager, writing up a few small guidelines for his team to follow — Ella and Zac were the true brains behind the operation.  Together these youngsters created all of the original artwork for the game and managed John to ensure he was developing the proper UX to challenge and delight their users. The result? A charming, yet challenging, game!

We were so excited to hear about these young entrepreneurs that we decided to help give them the publicity they deserve! Since the release of the game we Vunglers have become a bit obsessed with Beetastic — competing with each other to be the high-scorer — and now we’re extending the challenge to you, our community!

Here’s the challenge:

  • Download/play Beetastic to the best of your abilities.
  • Screenshot your high score and submit the photo to our Facebook or Twitter profile with the #beetvungle hashtag
  • Vungle will donate a beehive in the name of the Passfield family for every person who beats us (our high score is currently 56)!
  • Entries must be submitted by September 30th

What are you waiting for?! Let’s help these young hustlers earn the spending money they deserve!
